Tottenham Hotspur have reached a full agreement to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White in a major summer transfer move.
According to sources close to the deal, Spurs and Forest settled on a fee in the region of £45 million, with potential add-ons included. Personal terms have also been agreed, and the 24-year-old is expected to undergo a medical in the coming days.
Gibbs-White has been one of Forest’s standout performers over the past two seasons, showcasing his creativity, work rate, and versatility across the midfield. His ability to operate both centrally and out wide made him a key target for Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou, who is looking to bolster his squad ahead of a return to European competition.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in my career,” Gibbs-White said in a statement. “Tottenham is a massive club with a clear direction, and I’m excited to be part of it.”
His arrival is expected to bring added flair and dynamism to Tottenham’s attacking midfield, especially as the club reshapes its squad under Postecoglou’s vision.
Gibbs-White is set to join up with his new teammates once the move is formally completed, and he could make his debut during Tottenham’s pre-season tour.
